About

HAIM SEGEV

All my life, I have been drawn to the mind and all the beauty it holds.

The world of the mind is complex and majestic, though it possesses a single purpose: to hold and build a unique, individual identity that leads a fulfilling life.

We all face many different experiences and events in life – all of which impact the construction of the mind and identity. Some even produce complexities that, while difficult to face, enable growth and the possibility of leading a better, more meaningful life.

I believe that everyone deserves help and support during these periods. With the help of commitment, courage, perseverance, and the correct guidance and tools, we can all achieve what was once deemed impossible.

Haim Segev is a certified therapist and graduate of the M.S.W clinical program at the University of Haifa. He has worked in the psychiatric unit at Soroka Hospital, Israel, and in the Department of Social Services in the Golan, Israel.

Experience

When I accept myself as I am, I am able to change

Every person is different and special, embarking upon a journey that is wholly unique to them. Therapy is a joint effort between the therapist and patient, working together to find the way, the direction, the hope, the power, the faith, and the meaning.

At Segev Clinic, I use a variety of therapeutic tools. My main focus is on psychotherapeutic therapy – therapy through personal discourse, observation, and reflection on one’s personal story. I also use the CBT approach, using different behavioral tools, meditation, and guided imagery.

I support clients with a range of mental and emotional complexities; this includes trauma, emotional crises, relationship issues, insomnia, anxiety, and stress.
